If you request deletion and we have no legal need to retain your data, we will delete or de-identify it in our systems. Some information (e.g., transaction history required for tax) may remain in locked archival backups.
8. Security
We maintain industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), restricted access controls, monitoring, and secure data centers. Payment card data is processed only by PCI-compliant processors; Bookistics does not store full card numbers.
No system is 100% secure. If we discover a security breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and regulators as required by law and take reasonable remedial steps.

- Payment processing: payment card transactions are handled by PCI-compliant third parties. For billing questions, we will provide the processor contact details on request.
